Lifeworks
believes that every individual is entitled to lead the most
independent and meaningful life as possible.
Our Residential Programs were created to provide
each person with the supports, guidance and supervision
necessary to accomplish this goal.
We offer both Residential and Supported Living
services, with each program designed to meet the specific
needs of the individual.
Whether residing in a home with others, or
living independently in the community, the people we serve
receive attentive, compassionate care from our well-trained
and educated staff.
Our Residences
Everybody
dreams of living independently in their own home or apartment.
At Lifeworks we make these dreams a reality for many adults
with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.
Lifeworks currently operates 11 homes and 2
apartment complexes that serve adults ranging in age from
their mid-20s to mid-70s.
Our homes are located in several suburban areas,
each within a short walk to the town’s center. 
Each home is staffed accordingly to the needs
of the individuals who live there who receive assistance
with their daily needs and care.
Our staff works diligently to help create a
feeling of community integration as residents are encouraged
to create lasting relationships with neighbors and friends.
We visit local restaurants, stores, libraries, and other
community sites, and often participate in special town events.
