Employee Benefits

Lifeworks offers all staff members an industry-leading comprehensive benefits program. These benefits are available for all full-time and some part-time qualified staff positions.

An essential ingredient of all Lifeworks benefits is that you are eligible for and begin accruing these benefits on your first day of employment – NO WAITING PERIOD.

Our Employee Benefits Package includes:

• HEALTH INSURANCE: all staff members who work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in Lifeworks insurance benefits. We offer Blue Corss/Blue Shield New England in which the agency contributes 75% of the total cost and each employee contributes 25%. This 75% / 25% contribution plan applies to both individual and family plans.

• DENTAL INSURANCE: all staff are eligible to participate in Lifeworks Dental Insurance Plan, currently provided by Delta Dental of Massachusetts. There are two types of coverage to choose from.

• PAID TIME OFF: on the first day of employment all staff members begin accruing over 4 workweeks of paid time off, with an additional workweek added upon the completion of your third year with Lifeworks.

• PAID HOLIDAYS: all staff members receive eleven paid holidays each year.

• SECTION 125/CAFETERIA PLAN: all staff members can have their health and dental benefits paid with pre-tax dollars under this plan. In addition, money can be set aside for childcare support, which can lead to savings of approximately 28% of your costs.

• TUITION REIMBURSEMENT: each staff person is eligible to participate in this plan. The reimbursement is $200 per course, up to a maximum of 3 courses per semester. There is an internal pre-approval process. Feel free to contact us for further details.

• TUITION REMISSION: Currently, there are several positions eligible for tuition remission at state colleges and community colleges. This plan is administered by the State of Massachusetts in conjunction with the Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers. Please contact us for further details.

• COMPANY PAID LIFE INSURANCE: Employees who work at least 30 hours per week are offered a free life insurance plan for 1x their annual salary. Details of this plan are available through our Business Office after you are hired

• COMPANY PAID LONG -TERM DISABILTY: All employees who work at least 30 hours per week are offered free long- term disability insurance. Details of this plan are available through our Business Office after you are hired.

• VOLUNTARY 403B RETIREMENT ACCOUNT: All employees are eligible to participate, through voluntary contributions, in a Fidelity 403 B retirement account. Details of this plan are available through our Business Office after you are hired.

• RECRUITING BONUSES: All current employees are strongly encouraged to recruit employees for open positions. Bonuses of up to $500 are paid for each person recruited by you and hired by Lifeworks. Details of this plan are available through our Business Office after you are hired

• OTHER BENEFITS: In addition to the benefits listed above, all employees are eligible for discount movie and amusement park tickets a discount on an auto loan from a local credit union, and other employee support and incentive programs.
