Chairman, Edmund Ferrara
Ed is a local Business Executive with Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems, Inc. He has served on the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 1991. Ed has been involved with Lifeworks for nearly 20 years, serving on its Board as well as coaching various Special Olympics sports teams for our affiliated agency, SNCARC.

He is involved in many other local charities and organizations. Ed has been an excellent political advocate for Lifeworks and the field of Human Services for many years.

Vice-Chairman, John Allen
John was a founding member of SNCARC, our affiliated agency and has served on the Lifeworks Board of Directors since the inception of the company in 1989. John is a local attorney who is semi-retired. He is the parent of an adult son who receives services from both Lifeworks Employment Services and Lifeworks Residential Services.

John is a lifelong resident of Norwood and has been a great advocate for Lifeworks in regards to local issues for our agency.

Treasurer, Cheryl Gorman
Cheryl has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 2002. She is Senior Vice President for Retail Services at Harvard University Employees Credit Union.

Cheryl lives locally in the town of Westwood and has been involved in many local and regional charities. She has served as a member of the Lifeworks Golf Tournament Committee.

Clerk, Sheila Coakley
Sheila has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since Lifeworks inception in 1989. She has served as the Clerk of the Board since 1992.

Sheila is a local attorney who has been an active supporter of Lifeworks and SNCARC for many years. She has an adult son who receives supports from the Lifeworks Residential Services programs.

Thomas Erhard
Tom has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 2007. He is a retired educator, who was a teacher in the Dedham Public Schools for over 40 years. Tom has an adult son who has receives employment supports from Lifeworks and family supports from our affiliated agency, the South Norfolk County ARC.

Tom served two terms on the town of Foxboro School Committee. He currently serves on the State of Massachusetts Department of Developmental Disabilities Family Support Council and the South Norfolk County ARC Family Autism Center Steering Committee.

Robert Falvey
Bob has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 2004. He is a retired Accountant and Banking executive who spent his career working for State Street Bank and the public accounting firm Ernst & Young.

Bob lives locally in the town of Dedham. He has an adult son who receives supports from Lifeworks Employment Services.

Edward Koval
Ed has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 2003. He is a retired engineer who has been a lifelong resident of Norwood.

Ed has served both SNCARC and Lifeworks in many capacities over a large number of years, recently rejoining the Board. He has an adult son who receives supports from Lifeworks Employment Services.

Kevin Murphy
Kevin has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 2006. He is a local business executive who is currently the Vice President of Lending for The Mortgage Company.

Kevin has been a volunteer with the South Norfolk County ARC in their sports program for over 20 years, serving as a coach and chaperone for Special Olympics sports events. He has also done significant fundraising for SNCARC and Special Olympics of Massachusetts.

Paula Mogan
Paula has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 2007. She is a local business executive who is currently a Vice President for UBS. In her distinguished career, she has worked as a Vice President for Foxboro Savings Bank, Baybanks, BankBoston, and Merrill Lynch.

Paula serves on the Board of Easter Seals and is a volunteer with that organization. She lives locally in Foxboro and is involved in many activities in the town of Foxboro. She is a neighbor of a Lifeworks residence.

Mark Rogers
Mark has been a member of the Lifeworks Board of Directors since 1991. He is a retired business executive who is a longtime resident of the town of Westwood.

Mark has been active in local Westwood politics and a lifelong supporter for individuals with mental retardation.
